Whoever Said…
Hello, LWA Seekers of Greater Well-Being!
Whoever said:
“I wish I hadn’t gone to that wellness retreat.”
“I wish I hadn’t made my health a priority.”
No one I know! Every wellness event I’ve attended has left me smarter, more inspired, and ready to level up. I’ve never regretted a workout (even on days I didn’t feel like it), trying a new stress-relief technique, or eating better. Attendees of my conferences don’t regret showing up. They regret not showing up sooner — especially once they hear what they missed. And nobody regrets prioritizing their health. Plenty regret not doing it soon enough, missing out on vibrant years with the people they love.
THE GREAT NEWS: It’s never too late. Tell yourself, “My time is now!” Our oldest conference attendee? Age 80. Our oldest webinar starter? 88 — she went from couch potato to gym rat and emailed to tell me so. Studies show even assisted-living residents make huge gains once they start an active fitness program. Let’s skip that wait. Let’s build a lifestyle where assisted living isn’t in the picture… until maybe your second century. And don’t give up. If the first or second time didn’t work, try again!
I get it. Marketing makes it easy to spend your time and money elsewhere. Beach vacation or wellness immersion? Most people pick the beach. But those living WELL aware get both: they invest in wellness because they know they don’t know it all — and they don’t want to miss out on the latest in wellness. They’re the ones walking miles on that beautiful resort beach well into their 90s. They don’t have an SLBS (self-limiting belief system). Do these sound familiar? They’re ALL SL…BS!
Not worth the time or money.
Too late for me.
I’ve tried. It didn’t work.
I already know it all. (We all know this someone.)
Too hard.
Wellness events aren’t my thing.
What if I fail?
People focused on living their dream life have a different mindset: an LCBS (life-changing belief system):
Definitely worth the time or money. Costly not to do so.
Never too late for me to learn something new.
I’m going to try again – with a LCBS this time.
I’ll never know it all. There is so much to learn.
I love a challenge! Bring it on.
Wellness events are fun, and it’s motivating being with like-minded people.
The only failure is not trying.
Fact vs. Fiction vs. Fraud — that’s the real question today. Wellness products are everywhere promising a painless, disease-free life. Really? You’d need a cave with no Wi-Fi to avoid all these promotions. But what are the evidence-based strategies that can boost health and happiness, prevent disease, and even slow aging?
Want the Truth about slowing aging, boosting mood without meds,
and living healthier, happier, and longer?
