INTENTIONS / BELIEFS
Hello LWA 2025-2026 Seekers of Greater Well-BEing!
Spring is here! The flowers are in bloom. Are you? This is a great time for all of us to blossom in one, or MANY, areas of our lives. What does it take? First, and foremost, a GROWTH MINDSET. That Sets the Stage for Success. What doesn’t work? Incoherent intentions and beliefs. What am I talking about? Have you ever found yourself with one of these INTENTIONS:
I want to lose weight. I want to lose weight.
I want to get in shape. I want to get in shape
I want to happier, less stressed, less worried, or healthier.
I want to pursue my passion / talent of _______.
I want to be in an amazing relationship. Or,
I want a life of abundance.
But your subconscious mind is believing / feeling:
I’ve tried everything. Nothing works. This is DIFFICULT.
It’s too hard. I’m too old. It’s not possible.
Life is stressful. It’s not under my control.
I’m not good enough. No one will appreciate my work / efforts.
There are no good partners out there. Or, he / she is the problem, not me.
I’ll never have the things I want. It’s not possible.
These intentions and beliefs/feelings are NOT in line. How could you succeed???? Your INTENTIONS and your BELIEFS/FEELINGS must be in line. How can an intention to lose weight / get healthier manifest when feelings about food, alcohol, difficulty, inadequacy haven’t changed? Your beliefs/feelings will override intentions. Example: Years ago, I was thinking: “I want to be vibrant, young.” But my subconscious mind was telling me: “You’re getting old.” NOT CONGRUENT! Now, I not only see myself as young and vibrant, I BELIEVE / FEEL young and vibrant. In the past, I thought: “I want a great marriage.” But I was believing: “My husband needs to get his act together!” Not a set up for success. I changed my BELIEFS, to: “I will always have a great marriage. I am loving, understanding, patient. My husband is a beautiful soul.” I also thought: “I want a life of abundance.” But subconsciously I didn’t feel worthy of such an existence. I changed my thinking to: “I have a life of abundance that I will share with those in need, my family, my friends. I am worthy.” I wanted to be less stressed, but my beliefs told me: “Life is stressful.” My new story: “Everything is happening for me. This person, this event, is my best teacher. So much is under my control. I will look for the good and be at peace with everyone, every event. Life is beautiful.”
Are you catching what I’m throwing? Our INTENTIONS and our subconscious BELIEFS / FEELINGS must be in line: COHERENT. Your INTENTIONS come from your thinking BRAIN, your imagination. Your FEELINGS come from BODY and are based on past programmed beliefs in your subconscious mind. Who’s running the show? Your BRAIN or your BODY? I want my BRAIN to be the MASTER, and my body to be the slave – not vice versa. In the past, my body craved stress, alcohol, sweets, glazed donuts (to mention only a few cravings). Pursing living WELL aware, my brain had new INTENTIONS of health, happiness, peace, joy, success in pursuing my mission. I had to BELIEVE and FEEL these new INTENTIONS so strongly that they began overriding old faulty subconscious programs just by my Thinking, Believing, and Feeling them - - before I even acted on them! YES, you can begin reprogramming your subconscious mind (NEUROPLASTICITY) with thought alone. But those thoughts must be believed and powerfully FELT. Your body will sense the new powerful feeling as if it’s actually happening. It doesn’t know the difference. Our thoughts are powerful! But, they must be repeated and believed – over and over. This is where meditation comes into play.

Jeff and I have been applying these concepts with nothing short of miraculous outcomes. I share many in the latest video.
BOTTOM LINE: WE CREATE THE WORLD WE LIVE IN.
THE GREAT NEWS: WE CAN CREATE A BETTER WORLD. An improved imagination of greater well-BEing, when consistently and repetitively visited, leads to new coherent beliefs and resultant feelings. Imagine PEACE. Imagine JOY. Imagine SUCCESS in fulfilling your mission – which hopefully is to become a better version of yourself to help others in some way. The “I” becomes “WE”. The “I” in Illness becomes the “WE” in WEllness.
