  3. Describe the parental responsibilities of caring for a child and the difficulties associated with being a teen parent.

  4. Understand pregnancy prevention by knowing failure rates of contraceptive methods and abstinence as the preferred choice for unmarried teens.

  5. Construct a personal plan for becoming a prepared parent as an adult.

  6. Demonstrate and apply a personal abstinence plan.
