  1. Describe the importance of physical health in accomplishing future goals and dreams.

  2. Discuss the U.S. Health and Human Services Physical Activity Guidelines

  3. Understand the numerous healthy habits necessary to maintain optimal physical health including exercise, nutrition, sleep, avoiding toxic substances, wearing seat belts and helmets, and body hygiene. 

  4. Know barriers to accessing health care and demonstrate how to obtain health information and services.

  5. Design a personal healthy day including the healthy habits discussed.
