GROW! We cannot get better unless we admit something WE are doing or believing needs to be CHANGED. I would like to emphasize it’s all about what WE need to change – not our family, friends, or coworkers. What do WE need to do to be healthier and happier? We can’t make others change, but we can change our own beliefs, emotions, and actions to what others are doing that we may not like. This is powerful!
Growth is painful. Change is painful.
But, nothing is as painful as staying stuck where you do not belong.

I was so proud of my dad when he joined the local fitness center at age 92. He decided he needed to work on his physical health by improving his muscle strength and stamina, so he committed to going to the gym 4 days a week! One of my friends was fed up with her financial situation and decided to stop ALL nonessential purchases until she wiped out her credit card debt. And she did! Jeff and I wanted to improve our spiritual health, so we started a monthly Spiritual Wellness Group and also committed to a daily spiritual reading. So many of my patients and friends have had it with the excess weight they are carrying around. They have been steadfast in eliminating carbs and are seeing the results.
What’s the ONE THING that you could work to improve right now that would make your life so much better? If you took ownership of that aspect of your life, how would it affect the other areas?
